We are so blessed and have enjoyed the past few months together as a family. Today we celebrated Ivan's baby dedication. How thankful we were for God's wonderful blessings! Isabella has really enjoyed the summer thus far...
March 20, 2009 little Ivan Daniel was born into our lives. As most of you know, he had a rough first month living at Egleston for most of his days. Praise the Lord, He saw us through that storm and we have a story of grace to tell for the rest of our lives. Isabella loves her brother and we are so thankful to be at home. God bless all of our friends and relatives who've prayed for us throughout the last month.
Yet another holiday season is approaching and we have so much to be thankful for. Isabella is the sweetest little girl & now baby # 2 is only months away. As before, we chose not to find out the gender of this little one. Family members as well as "Big Sister Bella" attended the 20 week ultrasound with us. We are grateful to God for His many blessings. May He continue to use us for His glory in the year to come.
Once again, God continues to shower His blessings on us. Our sweet Bella will soon become a big sister. We praise the Lord for His goodness and give Him all glory.

Thanks again for your many prayers. Isabella got her cast off yesterday and her hand is healing great. Also, Bryan and the team will be returning tomorrow from the New York mission trip. Bella can't wait to see her Daddy.
Friday, June 27th was a spiritual marker in my life. Isabella finally was able to get her surgery that had been rescheduled several times. The Lord taught me what it truly means to HOPE in the Lord. In addition to our prayers answered, Isabella is now a cousin to two twin boys...Jack and Chris. We can't wait to meet them.
Isabella is learning new Bible stories. First she learned about Ruth & Naomi (as she says "Namona") and now she's picked up "Noah." Below is a small video of her telling me about Noah. Love you guys & thanks for your many prayers. Because of them, Isabella is doing great.
The following video is really 3 in 1. Within a short time Isabella began crawling then walking! Also, we've included a short video of her showing us "her version" of sign language.
We had a wonderful Easter. It amazes us at how smart Isabella is. She is now 15 months, able to stand alone and is learning new words every day. Before long she'll be running everywhere. If you ask her about being hungry she'll make a silly face. Check out the video.
Monday night, Isbella began crawling!!!! We'd started to think that she was going to skip crawling & go straight to walking. Over the past couple of weeks she'd hold our fingers and "tiptoe" around. I guess that new view of the world encourged her to get crawling.
We had a blast at Isabella's first birthday party. She really enjoyed the cake! At one year, she is able to move around on the floor (her form of crawling) and is beginning to do sign language such as "please" and "more." What an awesome feeling to be a parent. We thank God for this opportunity and for His many blessings on us.
At seven months, Isabella began saying Da Da. A few weeks later she began saying Ma Ma. It absolutely makes my heart melt! She is such a sweet girl. This is one of the latest pictures we have of her (at 6 1/2 months.) We are so excited to enter this fall season with our precious little girl. So many experiences await us in the upcoming months.
